Mixing User-Experience & Marketing
My approach to writing for the web fits very well with a user-experience (UX) mentality. I focus on the user, or as marketing would put it, the prospect.
To my mind, UX and marketing have aligned goals, it’s just that the two groups use different language and have slightly different things in mind.
So whether you call it UX or user-centred marketing, it’s how I’ll be thinking about your customers.

I write as the client that hires me. That is, I write in the style that is appropriate for each client, for each audience, for each product in each medium.
I can do serious, strict, silly, witty, sarcastic, absurd, professional, friendly, polite, conversational, fatherly, genial and downright rude. I can write in any style for any market.
